It comprises a largely uninhabited nature preserve that&#8217;s home to diverse flora and fauna, including rare birds. The main beach, Playa de la Concha, is known for its clear waters. Trails cross a landscape of salt marshes and hornitos (small volcanic mounds) and lead to volcanic Monta\u00f1a La Caldera and the 19th-century Marti\u00f1o lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Naviera Nortour runs ferries between Corralejo (Fuerteventura) and Lobos Island \u2013 which is 15 minutes each way in travel time. A ticket costs \u20ac16 (non-resident adult), \u20ac13 (resident adult), \u20ac8.50 (non-resident children), \u20ac7.00 (resident children).
