Located on the northwest coast of the island, this tower, which was built in the 17th century to protect the island from such forays, got its nickname the \u201ccheese tower\u201d because of its round shape. The tower, which has two floors, was fitted with artillery components such as iron cannons as part of that defense. The Spanish authorities declared this site a Historic Monument of Cultural Interest in 1949. Admission: \u20ac1.50 per person.
